"We have the best IB program around and remains one of the main reasons why students from out of the district transfer to Sonora. Moat of our student population is involved with IB or AP courses and are rewarded with their dream college acceptances."

"My overall experience at this school was amazing. The whole student body felt like one big family when it came to sports and even in the smaller things like when a student or teacher was ill. If I could do it all over again I would defiantly choose Sonora High School because of how welcomes they make everybody feel and for the relation between everybody there."

"I think what truly makes this school the best is the fact that everyone is connected. It is rare to find drama and judgment. I find that this school is one of the nicest ones around and it is really a great community. People are encouraged to participate in clubs and get good grades. Those people are the most popular!!"

"My overall experience at Sonora High school has been unforgettable. I am privileged and honored to be apart of ASB, CSF, National Honors Society, and Impact. I was involved in volleyball and track all 4 years and it as been the best experience by far. I believe there is no such thing as being overly involved. What makes this school unique is it's genuine bond between teachers and students. Teachers don't just fulfill their duty to educate us but also to support us. I have become closely bonded with all of the teachers i have had and even some, feel like my family at school. It is an indescribably bond and is what seperates us from other high school surrounding us."

"The overall involvement of the students at this school was great. We were known almost state wide for our support for our sports teams and it even made it into the newspapers. There isn't very much peer pressure that goes on throughout the school either."
