"Most of the teachers at Gahr High School are great; helping students when needed and encouraging them to apply for scholarships and universities. However, I say most teachers because they're are two types of teachers here at Gahr: the ones who care for their students and the ones that don't. Most teachers strive to help their struggling students, while trying to encourage and push their aspiring students to get interested in subjects they excel in. Others, however, simply don't care enough or are just to lazy to help their students. I've had one such experience with a teacher. He was my Algebra II/Trig Honors teacher who would literally play Clash of Clans while making us read a PowerPoint. When students asked for help he would either have an attitude and say come at lunch or just say "Go study." I've had various teachers who actually feel exuberance while helping and guiding their students in a successful direction. 100% of the English teachers I've had are always knowledgeable, always friendly, and, easy and fun to talk to as well. So overall,as I've said before, the teachers at Gahr High School are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and just fun to hang around during breaks."

"The social scene at Gahr High School is amazing. Students are always involved in events, there's hardly any peer pressure for anything, everyone accepts anyone, no matter race, economic position, religion, political affiliation,or sexual preference. Students at Gahr basically treat everyone the same, maybe not as equals all the time, but with respect. As with most schools, there are giant race cliques around the school since our school is very diverse, but we also have substantial amount of mixed-race cliques. There are also school position cliques such as the band clique, the gamer clique, dance team clique, and various sports cliques. No one at Gahr cares what sexual orientation you are, sure there might be some teasing here and there, but nothing super hurtful. We accept all people and treat everyone with the respect we ourselves would want."

"There is a great multitude of classes offered at Gahr. Classes such as AP US History, AP Psychology, AP European History, AP Calculus, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics, AP Chemistry. AP Language Arts, AP Literature, and a great amount of Honors classes are offered at Gahr. The teachers of the AP and Honors courses vary in teaching styles, some outgoing and energetic, some lazy and couldn't be bothered. The counselors try their hardest to give you the schedule you want but sometimes it doesn't work out and the scheduling process takes the longest time. All the AP classes are popular and students always have to fight to get into each classes."

"My overall experience at Gahr High School is excellent. I've had really great teachers over the past 3 years, except for one, and the classes I took were great as well. I'm in the AVID Program, so my best experiences would be from there. My favorite experience was going to the UCLA vs Oregon football game in 2014 (even though I'm a USC fan), because I was with my friends at a college football game hanging out and having fun. Doing community service with AVID is also fun, especially when we worked our own booth at the Artesia Street Fair. The Philosophy Club is also very intriguing as we talk about real life problems, situations, and possible solutions while having fun. Gahr is unique in the region of California I live in because my school has a very diverse populace. If I could restart my life, I would still end up going to Gahr because I've faced many hardships at this school but also had extraordinary experiences. I've meet close friends, learned new things, and experienced being an adult at this school, so I would change me going there for the world."

"I really like this school. I am involved in two sports and I absolutely love the experiences. Parents are very supportive; they try to show up to very single game. Best of all, they brought food! On the academic perspective, all of my teachers are kind and caring. They encourage students to try their best and overcome obstacles."
