"One of the most opportune times of the year is always the first week of school. During this time, students can switch classes and get a feel for the teachers and their schedule. If there is an issue with the schedule, then all a student has to do is talk to their counselor after school, or schedule an appointment, to change a class. As first impressions go, students whil find their favorite teachers who support them academically and in extracurricular activities. Personally, my English teacher has always encouraged me to do my best in a well-rounded aspect. While the workload for honors and AP classes can be challenging, it really depends on the classes a student decides to take. If a student is struggling in a class, it is relatively easy to find someone at the library, or as a teacher recommendation, to help tutor students."

"Every teacher is different, but I've had many great ones. I've only had one teacher during high school who didn't seem to know or care much about the subject. Other than that one teacher, I've had the pleasure of knowing great educators who are passionate about their field. Many of the AP teachers provide rigorous coursework and grading systems, but it is balanced by their desire to achieve and welcoming personalities. If a student sees a teacher walking around campus, it is not uncommon to hear a pleasant greeting. Also, teachers often allow students to make appointments for tutoring or discussion before, during, or after school, which is quite helpful for struggling students. Not only that, but many teachers are involved as supervisors to a club or sport on campus, so this serves as an excellent way to find common interests and make communication available among the campus as a whole. Overall, the teachers at Mayfair are great and hardworking individuals; it just takes some getting to know one another."

"Maybe it's just because I enjoyed my high school years, but I would do it all over again if I could. While high school at Mayfair was challenging, it was also very fun. There are plenty of school events to get involved with throughout the year to make the experience even better. For example, I used to go to every home football game or volleyball game with all friends There are also dances, assemblies, spirit days, and field trips that are available for anyone to participate in. All in all, the atmosphere and school spirit at Mayfair is what really sets it apart from other schools."

"The school is just horrible in general. They put way too much emphasis on the athletics and give so much more recognition and prizes, you could say, to them. There is not enough recognition nor programs for educational achievements. The teachers are just the worst, with the fact they have poor organization, poor discipline skills, and poor teaching skills. they literally seem like they put in minimal effort, and many are people who worked in their intended industry, and got kicked out and as a result are teaching, thus you can tell they don't want to be teaching. The student environment is also the worst due to the fact teachers/administrators do not correct wrongs. Students smoke in the bathroom all the time, sell drugs on campus, and still those students who get caught return right away with no consequence, including letting them keep whatever extracurricular they are involved in. They are also very unwelcoming and bullying does exist. There is a lot of social bullying. The campus security is the worst because they do absolutely nothing, but befriend the athletes and wrongdoers. And they seem to look at those who do nothing with an "evil eye." This school is just twisted and they glorify what should not be. This school needs a serious overhaul with principles and excellence."
