"The teachers at my school are always there for students. They take time out of their days and even stay long after school in order to help us succeed. Most teachers are approachable and make it easy for students to go ask for help on anything. They also make their lessons engaging so students always look forward to attending class the next day."

"In the three years that I have attended this school, this being my fourth, I have had a great experience. Sadly coming to an end I wish I could do it all over again. Some of my favorite experiences were being able to join sports teams like cheerleading and Students Run LA. What makes this school unique is the students that come here and the staff. Since it's a small school, almost everyone knows each other making it easy for everyone to get along; there's rarely any conflict. The staff is always so kind and treats everyone with equal respect. These factors are what make me what to choose to relive my experiences at this school all over again."

"This school was amazing when I first went. The teachers really are the high point of the school: they're incredibly involved, dedicated, and encouraging. There were a lot of really amazing clubs to get involved with, including environmental clubs, LGBTQ clubs, art/photography/creative writing clubs, community service clubs and countless others. However, during my last year of attending (2015-2016) the school really took a downturn, especially because of the administration and some clashing between teachers over unionization. A lot of the teachers were fighting over the decision of whether or not to unionize, which really affected their behavior towards students and overall teaching capability. The current principal as of 2016 has recently done a lot of damage, including trying to censor the student newspaper, pushing some of the most valuable teachers out of the school, and cutting many student activities. Despite how great of a school it was, it's really gone downhill as of recent. I'm optimistic that it has the ability to really pick itself back up, but as of right now I wouldn't suggest it as a school."

"My experience at this school was been amazing. I have made multiple friends during my three years in Polahs. The teachers are helpful and considerate about our outside school lives. I became the editor of copy and writing for my school's yearbook. I joined multiple clubs and organization in my school."
