"Glendale High is a very clean school with diverse students and teachers. They offer many AP courses which I love because it's always fun to challenge yourself. The only thing that I would like to see change is the staff to get to know the students personally. I understand that more than 3000 students attend Glendale High School, but I find it crucial for the staff to meet with their students."

"The teachers and staff are always there for students and they prepare their students well. The students and campus are always lively and I feel safe in school. It is like a second home to me. I met many friends and gained a lot of experience from my teachers and classmates. The school tries to make every student participate in school activities which mostly works. The only compliant I have is that sometimes students leave their trash on the ground. Besides that there is nothing wrong from my point of view."

"There are great teachers at the school who cares about their job and teaching students. There are also teachers that are miserable and give students a hard time for no reason. One department that needs to be fixed is the math department. Many students who are not in advanced math levels are struggling in getting through the basic math courses because they are not being taught well. I failed Algebra 1 in my first year because the school hired a teacher who had no experience in teacher and was a recent college graduate. The teachers I had later weren't as good. They didn't teach well so I had to force myself to become my own teacher and teach myself the course. The English department at the school is great on the other hand!"

"I've enjoyed Glendale High school but there needs to be more parent and teacher and staff involvement. There are too many teachers who do the bare minimum for their students."

"The students and faculty are all very enthusiastic about these sport/club activities and they provide excellent safety precautions when hosting an event. Although the majority of the faculty are helpful and do their job with enthusiasm, there are some that do not. The counselors do not take the requests of the students seriously unless a parent is present. Even then, help is in no way guaranteed. There is little regard to the students mental and/or emotional health. The health department in this school is probably the area of most concern. Student faculty wrote an article about the execrable job the nurse in the health office was displaying, and had been for years. It was immediately criticized from the principal. To conclude with though, this school tries. Their budget cuts have done a number on the staff and educational resources but they do the very best with what they have. My only complaint lies with the counselors and some of the faculty."
