"I loved the staff at this school. They are the main reason I decided to peruse a college career."

"My favorite experience at this school was getting my first A on a math test. My teacher spent extra hours outside of class in order to help me pass and it paid off."

"I went into Northridge Academy not knowing myself and am now leaving with a good foundation of who I am. I have made close friends and have become friends with the teachers as well. With this being said, because the size of the school (a very small one), it sometimes feels like a little jail."

"This school didn't offer me the high school experience I wanted. I tried to make the best out of it but once the principal change she made many changes to a school that already had many disadvantages for student life. Most of the teachers are horrible, many students take AP classes here and 90% get low scores on the AP exams, A high percentage of this year's freshman class are failing many of their classes. The sports at this school are great because of the students and parental involvement, the school cannot afford to fund sports yet most of our sports get a championship each year. Also we have a really good rivalry with a neighboring school that is fun and eventful each year. Even though we are a Division IV school our school's sports teams and players make the LA Times news frequently. In my opinion you only come here if you want to play on really good sports teams, have a great connection with CSUN's drama department and learn absolutely nothing. To be honest, you can actually get good grades if you just do your work in school, if you take AP or honors classes you will have to work a lot harder and have way less guidance but it is possible. I must add that throughout all of my years of high school I've always felt this school is unorganized and makes poor administrative decisions, proof is last year's graduation. You can google it and read all about how many of the parents were locked out of their own child's graduation. Finally, I don't understand why so many people are giving good reviews, I think maybe a teacher is offering extra credit."

"My overall experience is phenomenal. One of my favorite things at my school is that, they organize many events through out the school year so that the students can also have fun while they're in school. One of my favorite event at my school was the Shakespeare festival, where the students danced like in Shakespeare time and the some students and teachers explained the history of Shakespeare and his plays."
