"Great school that embodies the meaning of being a community. The school has less than 500 students which makes it easier for the staff to have a connection with their students. Students from all grade levels are exposed to one another and therefore a community is built within everyone and by the end of your high school career, you will know more than half of the people in the school."

"HTLA is very focused on the education, as any school should, but they are also there to support you. Aside from the work itself being hard, they taught me how to make the best presentations and how to speak in front of an audience. They taught me time management, being able to juggle all my classes plus my extracurricular activities. This school was my home. It was my safe place, no matter how stressful it was."

"I joined High Tech Los Angeles, or HTLA, in the September of 2015. Starting as a freshman at a new school is usually never easy although this wasn't the case at this school. The school in total has less than 500 students which was a huge change coming from a middle school of 3,000. I found myself actually loving school as I got to meet new friends, and have teachers that actually cared for my understanding of lessons. I find myself happier at this school than in any other as the educational and social environment are more free and realistic than I had ever hoped for. The only negatives I see, are the fact that there aren't many new chances to meet new people nor do I get to have a typical "high school" experience which I had anticipated for since I was younger."

"School helps you prepare for college in the best way, from taking notes to college level education. Education at HTLA is uncanny because it allows for people from all different paths to achieve at the highest level. In a time period where education is becoming so demanding and necessary for a better career, HTLA helps out a lot in achieving that goal."

"Beautifully modern school. Small and each student receives an amazing amount of attention from all of the really cool teachers. There is free tutoring offered everyday after school. Each student also receives a Microsoft Surface tablet. Our school is really focused on technology. This school is really focused on life after high school. Students meet with many college councilors quite often and many college tours are offered. As a whole, the school feels like home. All 400ish students know each other and all teachers know your name. An amazing community with amazing opportunities."
