"The teachers overall are friendly and truly try to help their students, however the students must learn how to ask for help and that is one of the most important thing they teach their class - Ask for help. Grading can be harsh on quizzes and tests, however projects are interactive and engaging which allows the students to raise their grades. That is only if they try their best. When asked a question, teachers tend to answer it to the best of their ability and when they do not know the answers, they ask for time to learn about it instead of just saying "I don't know, either". There are also teachers that may not be as friendly and sociable towards each and every students. Many decides to teach and incorporate technology into our lessons as well as our homework through google classroom. It works most of the time until they forget that they have to keep up to date with the virtual classroom."

"You can easily find a teacher you can trust with personal issues or for extra help. There are many English teachers who use real life examples to explain a text or idea."

"Well I mean, at first things were fun. I made a couple of new friends and the teachers I had were nice and caring to me. They would help me whenever I was struggling with math or other subjects. One of my favorite experiences in this school was how sweet and encouraging the sports teams were. Even though I wasn't the most fit person on campus, people in the team are not one to judge. I feel that the thing that makes this school unique is that they are very open when it comes to sexuality. I went to two different schools and my old high school, everyone was extremely private about their sexuality. Here at Gabrielino, people aren't scared to come out because everyone here accepts them. That is one thing that I find unique because it makes me happy that there's a school where no one is judged and can truly be themselves. The one reason why I actually wouldn't particularly choose this school again is that the popularity in this school are ranked by wealth. The most wealthy would be the most popular and would all hang out together snickering at the less wealthy. The poor and less fortunate would hang out with those of the same amount of wealth. There were many times where I've felt that I didn't belong and many times where I've been bullied by an old group of friends. Things were bad but im grateful to the counselors because they've helped me overcome my problems and helped me get back on track with my studies."

"I met a lot of teachers and students that have inspired me here at Gabrielino. Considering how we are a smaller school with a a smaller community, it is nice to see people get along and help each other out."
