"Maybe it's just my experience but I've had only the best teachers at my school. They became more than just teachers but helpful advisors and friends that helped me on a day to day basis even when it wasn't school related. Staying after school , before during lunch to tutor their students. Challenging their students to be successful. Putting their own money into their work to guide our future leaders. Castle Park has amazing teachers, and I'm blessed to have been in their classes!"

"Being a white girl at a mostly dominate Mexican bases school, I faced obstacles of disadvantage of understand the teachers. There were times they would speak in Spanish, so I never got the information. Gaining friends were harder in the sense that I was different. " I didn't understand." The struggles, what it meant to be Mexican, their culture. Especially in the time of the election. Donald Trump really made an morbid impact on my school and being white, I felt like they were assuming I was like Donald and only expressed and desired white power. However, there were also times where I was accepted, and people knew me because I was Qeuda, white girl."

"In my experience, most parents are not involved in their children's school."

"Its been a really great experience being able to be part of Castle Park High School. As it has shown me to be a hard worker and a nice person. I've gotten to know new friends and amazing teachers along the way. That have taught me a lot of valuable stuff about life and their experiences. One of my favorite experience would be when my history teacher talked about his childhood and showing that even back then there was still racism as he made something that happened to him into something educational. What makes tghis school unique is that it is an amazing place to meet new people and discover wonderful teachers. This is why Castle Park High School is my favorite school and i wouldn't change it for nothing."

"My school has a bad reputation in our community and parents tend to not send their children here but our school is very spirited and supportive of one another. Our school has unique spirit weeks were we dress up as Cowboys or where we dress up at babies and old people. When there's a big athletic event the parking lot is full and the benches are packed."
