"High school was an amazing four years for me, and I can't imagine having spent my high school years at any other school but Otay. I found that I enjoyed school the most when I started getting more involved. ASB, cheer, and a variety of clubs were ways that I found my place at Otay, but there are also so many other ways to get involved. High school is different for everyone, but it truly is what you make of it. The more effort you put in, the greater the memories you'll have at the end of it. Regardless of what high school you go to."

"Enrolling into this school junior year as opposed to remaining at my home school all 4 years was definitely a decision I was glad to have made. The entire school is very welcoming and it's hard to get by without making any friends because everyone is so genuine. It was also really easy to get involved with the school and that only heightened my experience, but that can honestly be for any other school. The only difference is Otay has so much spirit and more of the student population is more than willing to be involved for a better experience."

"I mainly took AP and Honors classes so I usually had a heavy course load. Time management is crucial, but academics are not so intense that you can't make time for sports or extracurriculars after school."

"As an AP/Honors student, workload is pretty bearable. That being said, even with fairly vigorous courses, (with good time management and not procrastinating) it shouldn't be difficult to do several extracurricular activities such as clubs, internships, and sports."
