"In my high school experience at SUHi I have been continuously involved in clubs such as mariachi and in sports such as soccer, track, and cross country. These have made high school something amazing by giving the opportunity to prove that academic excellence and competitive sportsmanship go hand by hand."

"Perhaps this is the nostalgia speaking (strange, since I've only been out of there for about 3 and a half months), but Sweetwater has a certain je ne sais quoi about it."

"This school focused on grades and I felt a lot of pressure trying to please teachers and peers."

"There is a lot of pressure and competition between students in terms of GPA. Clubs had the freedom to run their clubs as they wished but now it is controlled by the superior staff and with that the freedom and liberty SUHI had is practically vanished."

"Counselors and staff tend to focus on the students who have a higher chance of going to college and do not help the ones who decide to take a gap year or simply cannot afford to attend college."
