"In the sense of getting San Diego's best high school education, I would be proud to participate in this program again if I ever got the opportunity."

"Though the majority of students are white, there is quite a handful who are either Native American, Syrian, Iraqi, and Mexican. Each student gives a unique world perspective that helps broaden our world view and gives us insight on the culture norms of other places besides the U.S. Additionally, the political involvement of our students is beyond compare; the students of Middle College articulate their opinions on politics in a manner that it makes all opinions easy to respect."

"The academics of this school are the highest quality I've ever experienced. The teachers give and immense amount of insight on the curriculum at hand, and do their best to connect it with current-day issues."

"Middle College is, by far, the best high school experience I've ever had. With only 40 teens per class, it makes it a lot easier to develop close relationships with the teachers and staff, and it makes them so much more easily accessible for getting help with classes and applying to colleges. The students that come to Middle College are top notch, high quality students who take their academics very seriously and are devoted to prolonging their education at prestigious universities. All members of our school go above and beyond for us to have fun activities, such as prom and grad night, and to improve our standardized test scores to get in to 4-year colleges."

"I have only been there a few week but the seniors went above and beyond to make the incoming juniors feel welcome, along with the teacher treating us respectfully"
