"Escondido High School is a diverse school that not only supports academic achievement, but focuses on developing the character and individuality of every student on campus. There are many clubs such as CSF and NHS for academics, the Feminism Club and GSA club for social issues, and Link Crew for leadership. A wide variety of sports are offered that allows students to be involved in extracurricular aside from academics. Staff and other students are friendly and the teachers are willing to put their all into educating the students."

"I like that all teachers are preparing all their students to try their best and believe in them. The food there isn't the best. I wish that would get better. The campus itself would really need a clean up, but overall it's an okay High School to attend."

"Well it is a great school. The principle is really nice and it is going to be hard for all of the currents students for next year because Mr. Watkins will be change to a better job. He was helpful too all the teens when there was a walkout he said don't worry because nobody can hurt you in this school. Their fire drills are well down and lockdowns are practice just the right way, teens are behaving, listening, and following the teachers. Everyone is really nice and help full. I enjoy watching other teens helping the special ed students and asking them to the dances and have lunch with them."

"I've had great experiences at Escondido High School, most teachers are super nice. Receptionists are super rude most of the time, they treat students as stupid human beings. They should fix that issue by training the people in charge and make them understand that students should be treated as people just like they would like to be treated. Also there's not enough food for everyone most of the time."

"Overall the school is great, we are a community despite not being the same type of person. We are all a community that has school spirit. My school may not be in the best neighborhood or have the best students, but we are united. Some of us are in honors classes while others may be in regular classes, but despite our academic differences we all come together at the end of the day. I see this school as a second home. If I could change a few things would be that the district would not take away the honors program since it does help people reach their dreams of college and I would also like to change the racism and stereotypical views of races in this school. I do not like that many students segregate others based on race, color, religious beliefs, and/or sexuality/gender identity; I think that we should be a community and not bash others simply because they are expressing who they truly are."
