"Excellent academics and athletics. Beautiful campus and state of the art facility. It is privilege to attend this school."

"This is an institution that claims to champion diversity and a quality educational experience, but that presentation is mostly a facade. The administration compromises to wealthy donors to appease their sources of funding. Most of the talented teachers have departed for greener pastures. The culture of tolerance and acceptance and diversity is highly superficial, as the institution continually fails to sufficiently address controversial social issues. Many of the students are mediocre in competency but have secured enrollment thanks to their parents' bank accounts. The school serves as a factory for ensuring that the children of wealthy white families will have their GPAs inflated and will get admitted to elite colleges and universities that they do not deserve to attend."

"Although the academics are rigorous, the administration uses its resources to attempt to alleviate some of the stress, especially during AP week. Most of the teachers are great, but some are not as amazing"

"I really like this school. It is very open to new ideas and there are endless possibilities for travel. In addition to academic trips throughout the United States, the school offers international trips such as foreign exchanges and art/sport trips. It is a great community full of teachers who really care about their students and student who care about each other. Classes are small, usually no more than 20 students and most classes are student centered and discussion based."

"Bishops is filled with stuck-up rich White and Asian kids who think everyone in the world works for them. The lack of socio-economic diversity creates a very hostile environment for those less fortunate. The school's location also makes it very difficult for people who aren't from the very wealthy are of La Jolla to get there. All in all Bishops is an elitist school"
