"Only problem is the liberal teachers who won't give you both sides of the argument, however they do allow us to voice our views."

"Overall, I have had a good experience at this school. Of course there are the cliche "cliques" so people don't really branch out from their regular group. I've had a few uncomfortable experience at this school with boys being too touchy feely or cornering me in hallways, but for the most part it's been smooth sailing. I have had some amazing experiences though with the different clubs I participate in which has allowed me to branch out. For me though, I think the best part of El Cap is me being able to be a peer tutor for students with disabilities. My happiest moment was when one of the students I worked with won homecoming queen, you won't believe how hard I cried in the stands. This school is unique because of it's huge agricultural program, which is what draws some of our students in, and the overall aura of the place."

"We don't have any problems, pretty much mind our own business and take care of our school work"

"For the most part, the teachers at my school are pretty great. Like every place you go to there are some bad apples but overall they really try to help students to the best of their abilities. A popular teaching method seems to be handing out the information that we need to know, whether it be in reading packet, textbook chapters, etc and then lecturing on that in language we'd understand. The science classes give a lot of independence and is also very hands on. In my three years of attendance I've yet to have a bad English teacher, and they all have cared about the well being of their students instead of just piling loads of assignments without the thought of how much pressure we're under. The teacher at El Capitan are for the most part a great bunch of people who genuinely care about their students."
