"I truly loved all of my teachers throughout my 4 years at West Hills. I'm so grateful for their wonderful personalities and their ability to connect with students. More importantly, I'm thankful for their teaching methods, all of which were clear and effective."

"While there are a lot of great things about this school, there are a few factors that might turn me away if I had the chance to do it over again. The students here tend to be stuck up and materialistic. However, it is possible to find some amazing lifelong friends if you're willing to look for them. One of the things I disliked most about this school was the administration staff, and I think most students would agree. For example, anytime I went to the office to ask a question, the women at the front desk seemed irritated and unhappy. I always felt negative energy coming from them. As for the principal and vice principals, they weren't liked by the majority of students either. That being said, I rated it as great because I believe that the quality of teachers/academics, sports, and other activities/extracurriculars outweigh the negatives."

"No matter who you are, or what you enjoy, you will find people here who are just like you. I feel very safe at this school and I have made close friendships. My classes (please note I have been taking Honnors/AP classes which have a unique environment) are very stimulating and interesting. Students in those classes are motivated for the most part and inspiring to those around them. I am very involved in the choir and it is a wonderful community of people who all share a passion, whether you're outgoing or quiet. We have a wonderfully talented teacher who led us to win first place superior in our national competition (we only have one competition, we don't get much funding.) and is so personally involved. We've had gatherings at choir members' houses - including our teacher's. I have had the joy of pursuing classes I am interested in such as choir and art. My passion for what I learn makes going to school not as terrible as most people seem to think high school is."
