"Since day one school has been fun for me. There are always events during lunch and the spirit days are super creative and fun. The members of out community come to support us in our sports events and many other non-sport related events. There is a real sense of school pride and what it means to be a "Knight." A knight is caring and hardworking and makes a positive difference in their community and to those around them and I think the people at this school really embody that idea of "Knight Pride.""

"This is my junior year as well as my first year in San Marcos High School. I would say that for a public school, this has been an amazing experience for the first year. The diversity and variety of activities that you can do at the school allow endless opportunities for me to engage with other students and teachers. I have most recently been focused on the drama department of San Marcos High School. I am proud to say that I have contributed to the revival of our drama department as we had a new drama teacher this year. The entire drama department have been extremely welcoming, allowing me to immediately find a place to belong within the school. While the school has an extremely large student population, the environment stimulates friendly relationships no matter who you are with."

"The school itself as okay, however, it did not prepare me for life in the real world at all."

"The teachers are very sensible and well educated on the subjects they teach. They take extra time out of their day to help struggling students out and come support their students at school sporting events or school recitals and concerts. They support us inside and outside of the classroom and are truly happy when they see us succeed."

"I think the teachers at San Marcos High School are very helpful in not only the academic aspects of my life, but also in terms of real world applications. They push me to continuously strive for a greater goal and provide assistance when needed. They try to make you an independent person so that you can do great in the real world when you have to be in charge of your life. I find that their teaching styles are highly effective, allowing me to demonstrate consistent growth and excellence."
