"I love the united community and diversity. There's a wide variety of academic and elective classes that help the students decide what they might be interested in for a future career."

"Valley Center is a very close knit community and that is also how the local high school feels. Everyone has grown up with each other since elementary school and it makes for a loving campus. The teachers are also very passionate about their job and truly care for their students. This has made high school an extremely fun and exciting experience for me."

"There are a lot of great teachers here, but there are also a handful of bad ones. Sports are clubs pretty good, but there isn't much diversity. All around it's a great school."

"Valley Center High School has a small campus. Contrary to popular belief, having this small campus has created a family of close-knit friends and acquaintances with an overall friendly environment. Our small school allows ample times to socialize with new and different people and connect better with my classmates, and because of our small population we share the same generosity. However, there is little knowledge among the school that there is more than sports, and that the arts program has performances as well. Valley Center itself has a lot of sport fanatics, which would explain the push for sports, but I wish that the performing arts would get more credit and spotlight, which they undoubtedly deserve."

"What I like about the school is that they have good teachers, very educational, and the counselors care and help you get to your choosing career or job. Also they help you or recommend you to take a class that can help you get to the career."
