"High Tech High International is a project based high school located in Point Loma, known to prepare students for their college future. Diversity at the school is amazing, people from everywhere get to enjoy such an embracing culture at High Tech. The one thing I would change is the discipline, there is none. Being bullied all four years of high school and having come to enough with those people things had to change. After specific people committed a crime that should've lead them to be in handcuffs they decided it give it another go with me. With High Tech's "expulsion hearing" we discovered teachers there have their favorites due to race. Being such a diverse school that was overwhelming. Standing my ground and loving myself and having a great support system is what got me through high school. I learned to not let anyone else's weaknesses bring me down. And for that I thank High Tech, because without it I would've never learned how to be the strong independent woman I am today."

"There is so much freedom at high tech. Students aren't taught by a normal curriculum and it's hands on learning. Unlike a traditional classroom students learn real world applications and are taught far beyond the text books. They also learn life skills like public speaking and engaging in the community. Only thing I would change is offer AP classes because some students are ready for the next level and can only benefit the students."

"I love that our school is project based and the small class sizes. Not having textbooks fosters a hands on learning environment which is very helpful."

"High Tech High International is pretty unorganized and very inconsistent. Every that I was High Tech High, there were teachers being fired, new ones being put in, teachers leaving without notice, and rules frequently changing. The school claims that they are getting us ready for the real world, but others as well as myself have yet to experience the correlation. There isn't much school involvement as well."

"High Tech High International is a project-based school, immersing you in an environment that makes you think outside the box. Projects directly relate to the class you're taking so they'll be different and most of the time, really fun. Things like advisory, internship, externship, intersession, and x-block are what really makes this school stand out and be different. You'll love it here."
