"Mira Mesa High School is an establishment that pushes me to be my best. The school offers many AP courses in which I plan to take advantage of, and teachers that work hard to ensure my education if fit for future academic challenges. What makes Mira Mesa High School a great school is the diversity. There are many different races, religions, and sexualities. The best part about this diversity is that Mira Mesa is very accepting and supportive of everyone. I cannot wait to pursue my high school career at this school, and the wonders I have yet to encounter."

"Some of the teachers are miserable, making the whole class miserable, and the room, an environment of misery. Staff varies in teaching. Some are very bad, some are good. Most are very nice and cool. Average high school really. And the student population is very diverse. A reflection of Mira Mesa. Alongside the safe, nice, tidy neighborhood, the high school is in the middle, with Mira Mesa Mall. Large military-brat population due to close proximity to MCAS Miramar. A sense of security, too. Also, with Miramar and Sorrento, borders between the City of San Diego and North County. The social classes are scattered, for the most part, but it's mainly middle class. Meaning the neighborhood's a balanced area. Again, nice city."

"I love this school, it helped to become a better person as the peers around me are hardworking as well. Most teachers (i was in advanced classes for the most part) genuinely care about you and your learning."

"The environment at Mira Mesa High School (MMHS) is not very hostile among the students. For the most part, everyone gets along, and there is not a great amount of fights or other drama. Among the teachers, however, some of them are incapable of reasoning with the students in order to create a better learning environment. I would suggest for the teachers to be inspected in order to craft a better education for the students."
