"Part of my favorite experience at this school was the retreats like Kairos which I was lucky enough to attend twice, once as a retreating and the second time as a retreat leader. I also lead the freshman retreat two years in a row which was a rewarding and fun experience. I loved dancing with the dance team and the girls and guys and coaches of the team became like a second family for me. Competing and performing with the dance team was some of the most memorable experiences I will take away from high school. I also was apart of the Student Leadership Council two years in a row and was involved with different committees like the Spirit Committee which organized and lead school pep rallies and spirit weeks. This school is unique because of the bonds and relationships that are formed between students and peers, and students and teachers. The tight knit community is like a big family and everyone is compassionate and understanding. For some, private schools can be frustrating due to everyone knowing everyone else business and there being no privacy, however, at Xavier there is no judgement for what goes on in peoples lives, the school gets involved only when they see a person is struggling with something to provide support for the student or likewise if the student is doing things that could be harmful to others or themselves. If I had the choice I would go to high school here all over again. I have formed relationships here that are lifelong."

"Everything was pretty bad at this school but I gave it an "okay" based off of the Retreats and Athletic events (baseball and football)."

"Overall, the teachers are knowledgeable and work hard to ensure students have solidified understanding of the topics being reviewed. They are very hard-working, and compassionate.Teachers go above and beyond, especially if they recognize a student is struggling in any way whether that be academically or at home or with anything the student is having a hard time with. At this school, students and teachers form bonds you would not see at other schools. The majority of teachers are very organized and effective in their teaching strategies. They have lesson plans outlined for weeks and if you need extra help or assistance with a certain topic they have office hours where they are available after school or you can email them and they will usually respond promptly. I loved attending high school here especially because of certain teachers that i forged strong bonds with. The faculty goes above and beyond in caring for the WHOLE student rather than just parts."
