"Colton high was great in the way that clubs helped to instill school spirit. Since almost everyone grew up in Colton, there is a lot of pride in the city. What I wish the school could improve on is changing the attitude the teachers and other authorities have. Some teachers really care about their students and want them to succeed academically but others put students down and don't adequately teach. I would like if the counselors also tried their best to help students do better by taking more challenging classes or help students to think about their future. I understand that there are some students who don't really care about education so the counselors should help students think about life after school. Overall, my biggest wish is that they give students more chances and hold higher standards in what teachers they employ."

"I am sure by now the school has improved. I graduated there in 2002. Most, but not all of the teachers were passionate. The ones who were, if they saw talent in a child, they would do everything they could to encourage that child to strive for greatness. Prep rallies were always fun. What is hardest about CHS is the crowd. There are many students who just don't care about school. They are poor products of a poor environment."

"CHS is nice school, dedicated to success and teaching young minds. The teachers of Colton High are dedicated to teaching and inspiring students. The campus is nice and vast, there are a wide range of class subjects and clubs. The teachers and faculty take the time to listen to their students and insure they learn the course content."

"One thing I enjoy about attending Colton High school is the environment. Everyone seems to know everyone and is welcoming. The teachers and the education is one that is very inspiring. The teachers find a way for students to feel comfortable and want to engage in the learning. You can tell that they really do care about their students and their education."
