"Looking back, I had a great four years at Carter High School. The students on campus are so diverse and everyone has something different to offer one another. Many students gave me a shoulder to cry on, a laugh when I needed one, or an ear when I needed someone to listen. I cannot just choose one favorite experience from my whole high school experience. The experiences that stand out for me are definitely my soccer seasons and orchestra. I was able to participate in both of these activities all four years, and they absolutely made my whole high school experience. Both of these programs became like a second family. We spent so much time together that we were all extremely comfortable with one another, and we all got along so well. Carter High School is known for its athletic department, and the students on campus are extremely supportive of all sports on campus. It was definitely an exciting time going to football games on Friday nights or staying to watch the guys' soccer team whenever I had the chance to. If I could do it all over again I would definitely choose this school again. I know I would not have such a positive high school experience in any other school. These past four years really helped shape me into the young woman I am today, and I am positive that I would not be the same nor would I have the same opinions and values if I would have gone to a different high school. I truly am blessed to say that I was fortunate enough to go to Carter High School."

"Everyone at Carter High School is extremely accepting of one another. It is very rare that a student turns on another student for any reason. There are hardly any fights on campus. Not all students are involved on clubs on campus, but that number is decreasing. The students that are already involved in a club do everything they can to show those other students how amazing and fun their club is. Peer pressure is almost nonexistent at Carter High School. The counselors have done an amazing job in teaching students how to stand up for themselves and how to not fall victim to peer pressure. If anyone ever feels pressured to do something that they do not want to do, they know what to do and say in order to not fall victim to peer pressure. Students at Carter are not discriminated against due to their religion and/or ethnic/racial diversity and/or sexual orientation. Everyone is extremely accepting of those around them. That is one of the many amazing qualities about Carter High School."

"Carter High School has a variety of different Advanced Placement classes that it offers. They offer AP language, AP math, AP foreign language, AP art, AP science, AP history, AP government, AP studio art, and AP economics. Those teachers that teach these AP classes are extremely dedicated in ensuring student success on the AP exams in order for students to receive college credit. Students are encouraged by teachers and counselors alike to take Honors classes and AP classes. However, more attention is paid to those students that do take these more challenging courses. The scheduling process can be difficult at times, especially at the beginning of the year. This is the time that almost everyone on campus wants to change their schedule, and because of that, it is almost impossible to schedule an appointment with a counselor. But when one is finally able to schedule their appointment, they receive the exact help they need. The workload for these AP and Honor classes is not too much; it is just a matter of managing your time properly."

"When I attended this school, I had a great time because I was very involved in school activities and very social among other students. I would choose to go to this school again because of the teams I was involved in made us all feel like family, everyone was civil and sweet with each other, and everyone hung out with everyone, very diverse people."

"There are certain teachers that when you take their class, you will learn nothing in it, thus causing bad grades in some cases even if you go to get tutoring. On the other hand, there are also great teachers that put a lot of effort in seeing you to succeed, these are usually the advance classes though. Most teachers are approachable, friendly, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable, while other teachers are crazy."
