"So far there are a few teachers and a few methods at which i myself would change or like to see changed differently. I am a little upset and rather let down at the concept that there is a lack of ifeld trips or celebratory like events where it is an entire grade body or an entire school whole that participate in and promote to our children. I am a little offended and rather annoyed at the face that we did a cinco de mayo event and celoebration for our student body but have withdrawn the what was once trraditional ocotber school parade where everyone be given the ability to where costumes without accessories or violent based and walk around the school promoting a parade and then travel from class room to classroom for pre- trick or treating where, snacks such as fruit juices and fruit snacks or little school items or goody bags were handed out by the teachers and other classrooms then each classroom performing a festive celebration in that way. I just feel as a mother i want to see more hands on fun experiences that remind our children that everyone should be treated and celebrated every culrture that means even remembering the base roots and the traditional that opened the doors for us to be so well versed. and as for field trips and clubs or ptrograms, i feel as though they do not have a proper pta or fundraising and funding divided pta staff, had it been my choice id create and embark on carnivals, fundraisers, donation groups or bake sales to help fund if not entire grade field trips but individual classrooms through the annual calendar becauase it gives that positive recharge that schools not all books and rules and that it can be relaxing and educational. Those are the facts our kids hang on to and remember, were not seeing that in many of the schools in the inland empire especially after coming from oc where it is the complete oppositie and so many more parents care to be involved and help make a difference"
