"It is a great school community. The sports programs are great, and the academic opportunities are great, but not academics at all levels are not of the same quality. The math program is great for high students, but many of the math teachers are not very good. Extracurricular activities are great. Support staff is great. I just don't think there is enough."

"Great school and amazing teachers especially on the AP level."

"A lot of the parents like to attend to attend sporting events, but most don't even bother to show up for academic events. The only academic care that the parents have is if the teacher graded something that they think is wrong or about the behavior of the student in class, but they do care about their child's success."

"Overall academics are great. The administrators are committed and most of the teachers show a high level of commitment to the kids' learning. But the math program could be much stronger for the many kids who are not AP level students. The staff, office-counseling-support, are all great. There aren't enough counselors."

"There are a lot of popular classes such as AP Calc, AP Bio, and Modern Literature. Only the students that the counselors think that they would succeed in the class get in. The schedules are not final until the second week of the school year because not all the students get the classes that they want. The homework load varies from teacher to teacher. A lot of the teachers will give a lot of homework, but it's relatively easy. There are some teachers who will only give one page of homework but it will be the hardest thing to accomplish. In the end, the workload is not a big deal because unlike most schools, we are on block schedule, meaning that we have days where we only have odd classes and days where we only have even classes."
