"At this school, they offer a variety of academics. There are classes for woodshop, art, different mathematics, and different levels of english. Depending on the teacher, it determines how much homework you will be assigned. There are special study sessions after school, in which sometimes tutors come in, or it is the teacher helping groups. The curriculum was easy to understand once you had the hang of the lesson being taught"

"This school is unique because it taught me perseverance. In my experience, I had failed a few of my classes in the seventh grade. However, in the eighth grade, I was able to get a 4.0 because my teachers believed in me and had pushed me to be the very best I could be. My favorite memory must have been when I was chosen as the Masonic Award winner, an award that was given to a student who has a high GPA, who volunteers, and who is an exceptional role model. it was the highlight of my time at the school because it had shown me what happens when you push yourself to be the best student you can be, and what happens when you actually try in your classes. I would choose this school all over again because I enjoyed the teachers and the classes I had taken."

"Personally, I had struggled in my seventh grade year because of the lack of teachers caring about me. However that all had changed in my eighth grade year. I had actually enjoyed going to school for once in my school career. I had amazing teachers who offered tutoring and were available almost everyday after school. The teachers' grading policies were consistent throughout the years there. My seventh grade teacher had believed in me as a student, and recommended me for the AVID program; it would've made my last year in middle school completely different if she did not show interest in me, and recommended me. The teachers at the school had different styles of teaching. Most were visual and hands on style teaching, which I had enjoyed. I had they had been successful in giving instructions to class, and let us gain knowledge from other people's perspectives. Most of the knowledge I can carry away from middle school is empathy and showing respect, ideas you cannot be tested on."
