"There's a variety of teacher at Beckman, fortunately I've taken classes from the bad teachers and good teacher. One of my teacher, langauge teacher especially took her job seriously and did all she could to help us learn."

"The math and foreign language teachers are the worst. Any student, regardless of ability, struggles in Algebra 2/Trig. Another teacher told me that it is the most failed class at the school. I would think that if that were the case, teachers would be retrained or fired and teachers who actually care to see students succeed would be put in their place. High school is stressful enough, but when a teacher gives a math tests that asks students to apply what they have learned instead of show what they have learned, and the students can't complete the task, the fault lies with the teacher. Instead, however, administration and the district turn it back to the students, again, regardless of ability. In the business world, people who don't have successful results are fired. Students' grades on tests are the results of the teachers and if so many students at Beckman are struggling, teachers need to be fired."

"Although the school is filled with students from all over the world, they still seek out people from their country as friends so during break and lunch I can easily spot out the smart peoples group, the Korean group, etc. Therefore, these topics varies depending on each group. But no matter which group I talk about peer pressure exists."
