"The past for years changed my mind and mind set towards what I really wanted to do in the future. The teachers and administration put a significant amount of effort to guide students in the path to success. I for one appreciate my counselor and majority of my teachers that guided me and that never lost faith in me and for that I am truly grateful. I wasn't the most active with sports or clubs but I still felt that I was a part of the school. The classes that I took prepared me to begin to realize that life isn't easy and that the only way to succeed is my pushing myself and taking advantage of the smallest opportunity that get thrown at you. And now after four years, after graduating, I feel prepared to continue my life and go to college with the mind set of a winner, of a triumphant, and of a successful individual ready to show the world what I can do."

"Research shows that parent engagement in schools improves student achievement and helps connect kids to parents. Yet, El Dorado does a terrible job and does everything to exclude parents. Students with involved parents or other caregivers earn higher grades and test scores, have better social skills, and show improved behavior, so why isn't there any outreach or encouragement at El Dorado?"

"I like that El Dorado High School is open and has a lot of people that are easy to talk to! I would like to see an improvement in the food but other than that I love it here!"

"This school has been my home for the past 4 years and I've loved every minute. The teachers are engaging and really care about your future. I never feel alone at school knowing that all of my teachers care for me."
