"Teachers here teach multiple subjects as well as elective courses. Each individual teacher have great personalities and are really dedicated to the students and what their teaching. When I went here you didn't get to choose your classes because there wasn't a variety and there were only seven teachers for the whole middle school including a PE teacher. The work is challenging but you can always get further help from your friends or from your teacher who is more than willing to assist you. Most teachers stay after school and are always available through email so you're never stuck. Popular classes I can think of are with Mrs. Kavon the history and english teacher who is wonderful. She has high school children and really thinks of you as a mature young adult who is willing to get things done. She is so down to earth and very approachable along with Mrs. Keefer the math and science teacher. She too has high school and college children and is one of the funniest teachers you will have. She is so willing to help you with any class you, no matter the grade you are in."

"Honestly, I would choose to go to this school all over again if I was given the choice. It's not a huge school, and it being a K-8 gives it that family feel. You feels like you really belong here and everyone is just extraordinary. I believe that this school is phenomenal and the best out there because I felt like I was never being judged by anyone or criticized for decisions I made in the way that I am. I was able to learn and engage in so much with the help of my teachers and really find the passion for things. My favorite experiences are not just those from actually engaging lessons from teacher, but the school trips we took and how everyone got closer every year. Usually schools in our area stop taking field trips for middle school, but those at CAPE were memories that'll last a lifetime. And although they seem all fun and games, they're actually very academically based and you learn so much through hands on experiences. In 6th grade, we took a three day trip to Catalina Island and stayed on a sail boat. They took us around the island and taught us about how the plants and animals have been affected and what life was like. And learning on the island didn't stop there. The boat was our home for those days, and we would sleep, eat, and even get to jump off it for fun!; but we learned more about the ocean wildlife once on it. They showed us dolphins and octopi and different types of slimy things that we got to have a first hand view of. Those days were so fun filled and I learned and experienced so much. Furthermore, and I can say with all my heart and soul, that this school is the best place I have ever studied at in part to the wonderfully dedicated administrators, teachers, ladies in the office that are super kind, and friends that have all turned into family."

"Most people at this school have been going here for ages so everyone is very aware of each other and accepting. No one judges for other people's own decisions and peer pressure is not prominent here at all, which is great. Even if you're new to the school, you'll fit right in just by being friendly. There is no discrimination here whatsoever and there is huge diversity here. Everyone has different lifestyles and backgrounds and it doesn't matter how you were raised or what color your skin is. All that matters is if you're a pleasant person who is able to easily get along with others. Student involvement depends on the person. When I went here, clubs were just starting up but the main one being Leadership, had tons of students from the middle school. It seemed like everyone wanted to be apart of it. You were able to plain the middle school events and how things were to happen. My favorite student involvement is the end of year family picnic for all students K-8. Maybe a week before school ends, we get out early and everyone's family comes down to the school for lunch. You can bring your own lunch or buy something there, and the school sets out games and cotton candy machines and everyone just really has a great time."
