"It was high school, what else can I say? I enjoyed my time there, but am happy to move on to other things."

"Redwood is a good school but there are things that hold it back from being a great school. There is a huge difference between the academic acknowledgements and the athletic ones. There is hardly anything to recognize the students academically. They have recognitions like the radical Ranger and true ranger both of which are given to the teachers' favorite. Awards provide a little competition and motivation to receive them, but there is hardly none. The staff of Redwood is another story. Meanwhile some teachers are amazing and motivational, more often than not, some teachers just don't seem to care or even bother to teach. I had a math teacher that literally had us on computers all year on aleks.com. I felt completely unprepared for every test. There's our counselors, their job is to help us be prepared for college. My sophomore counselor hardly even answered her emails. Everyone already knows not to even bother going to her for help."

"As I end my junior year at this school I find that the one thing that this school does more than others I've seen is be an actual community. Here people actually have a place to be rather than be forced to sit in the back of the class. Everyone? has a chance to make the school better and aren't held down by the staff or treated differently by teachers for it. And those who don't take the opportunity when they have it is their own decision rather than their peers decision. I find that the school is an easy, fun, safe, and important part of Visalia where we, the students, are able to acomplish more because of our staff and teachers, who know how to support us and help us thrive. Overall there's no real"Best School" because there's always one or two people who won't help or listen and there's no perfect way to educate everyone?. But Redwood ?is definitely a school worthy of high praise and deserves to be noticed."

"Redwood High School was home for me the last 4 years. The activities the ASB students put together were phenomenal and brought the students closer together. The enthusiasm the school provides for not only football, but for every sport supported here is overwhelming and brings positivity from both staff and students."

"I love the school spirit and culture! However, I feel like the counselors are dismissive to students."
