"All 3 of my kids attended this school. I could not have picked a better school. The teachers are great and very careing. All 3 of my kids are know attending 4 year colleges. I would not change anything. Thank you to all the staff at Mt Vernon School keep up the great work."

"Mt. Vernon has an excellent magnet program. The staff at the school is very caring to the students and it seems that they always go the extra mile. As far as the academic program, they do not compare well to national standards because the majority of the students are from undocumented families that are non-English speaking. My child tests well because she understands the curriculum and I stay on top of her studies. Overall, I think it is a good school."
