"Teachers at this school are all very knowlegable and very passionate with their work. They really show that they love what they do for a living."

"I love this school because everyone was like family to me. The environment was very welcoming and loving and I felt safe. We had the best academics in the city and we also had the best trips. It was a great experience and I'm glad I graduated from here."

"While the school has given me experiences that have helped shape the person I am today, I most often feel as if I cannot be who I am because of the judgement expressed by the school. I feel restricted and when the faculty (teachers in particular) ask for my opinion, I am afraid to tell them the truth in fear of being told that my OPINION is wrong... While this school does give a wonderful religious education, they assume everyone has the same religious affiliation and this results in insulting comments about other religions. They inadvertently discourage self expression and generally make, at least to me, the students feel wrong about being who they are. However, my academic education has been, while I'm sure not as great as it could be, good enough for me to feel prepared for my college education which is wonderful because that is what a high school is supposed to do."

"While I believe the teachers genuinely care about the well being of their students, I don't believe they express it in an appropriate way. The majority are closed minded to different opinions of the students (mostly referring to the students' opinions regarding sexual orientation, gender roles, religious affiliations, etc.) and the students are afraid to express their opinions in fear of being judged or treated differently as a result of them. Although the teaching of regular course classes is generally complete and does prepare the students, the AP classes are rarely taught to an extent where the student is prepared for their AP exams."

"It was a Christian school so it wasn't too diverse."
