"Overall my experience at Pete Knight High was okay. The Knight High atmosphere shifted its focus from school activities and sports to academics and college readiness in my graduating year and the graduating year after mine. The swift shift from the previous years did not catch the school off guard. The school, which has thirteen A.P. courses, several honors classes, college prep courses/programs, and SAT and ACT preparation after school programs, were prepared but shocked at the high volume of academic interest. The preparedness is what was good overall to our school and education system. Unfortunately probably because of this academic wave and constant administration changes, Knight High School largely focused on academics but did not focus as much on activities, clubs and school spirit."

"I spent all four years in KHS. I have had regular classes and AP classes. The teachers are for the most part amazing, most of the AP classes I took were not constantly overwhelming, the teachers valued my education and looked at me as an adult who can make my own decisions. Although I didn't like how we took a health class for two semesters of freshmen year, I think it would be smarter to have one semester teach geography(which is a newly added elective) then the second semester teach health. There is a wide variety of students who attends, although the majority is of black and Hispanic background."
