"Tehachapi High School is the only big high high school in Tehachapi. As a result it know the town together. We all have the same thing to root for and we're proud to be Tehachapi warriors. Most teachers are fantastic and you can tell they genuinely want you to do well in their class and throughout your life. School spirit and involvement is very high and the students are warm and welcoming. However, when it comes to sports the places the money goes is a little biased. All the money is spent on football, cheerleading, basketball, and volleyball. All the order sports are basically ignored. For example, the cheerleaders get new nice uniforms every year that even have their names embroidered on them. Meanwhile, the track and field team doesn't have a pile vault mat to practice on which causes then to loose precious points at the meets."

"At Tehachapi High School there were a lot of great things, and a lot of average things. A lot of the teachers are great and genuinely care about their students. It felt like you could be friends with your teachers rather than them just being another instructor. The school doesn't feel to diverse or accepting of diversity though. I believe that this can change in the future if there are more advocates for change and acceptance from the community. There's also a good sports community here."

"Overall, THS is an amazing schools for any student. The environment is both academically and socially engaing. By keeping things entertaining with a committed faculty and hilarious/awesome school events like Powder Puff or Mr. Warrior. The scenery is beautiful because you're in the mountains, but when winter comes... it really hits. There's no hallways so you freeze a little, but many students can find enjoyment in the snow."

"Tehachapi high school is a good public school to attend. Very basic and straightforward. I am about to graduate and the last 4 years spent at THS have been pretty great. There's a lot to get involved though I didn't involve myself personally. The teachers are nice for the most part. The only bad experience I've had during my four years, would be this year, a couple of my teachers and other teachers seem to focus on getting a raise and going on strike rather than putting all the focus on the students. Other than the little things, it's a great school to attend and ready yourself for college at."

"There are many things I love about Tehachapi High School. All the teachers care about your future and are involved in class activities. School spirt is always estacatic during Homecoming and Battle of the Sexes. All the students are very friendly and extremely polite. I would like to see more field trip opportunities (college touring, academics, fun) offered. I feel like that would make High School more memorable for many students and would also allow students to see different places."
