"Dinuba High School opens many doors to meet new people and provides a real friendly environment when it comes to meeting new students. One thing I find very unique is the amount of spirit our school has whether it be during club fair or a high school football game, students love to attend and leave their marks at the event. It makes it very comfortable to do so as well, because a lot of Dinuba High students respect each other's differences. As a student my favorite experience was going to my first Varsity football game. The community is so involved and the students are all so hyped, the body of students is very welcoming especially during an event that brings every "group" together to support our football team. I would choose this school over any school because it provides such a warm atmosphere where you find yourself smiling and waving to strangers as you walk down the halls getting asked "How are you?" or getting told "Good morning." It's a lot better than the typical high school atmosphere where everyone is judgmental and walks with their heads down as they walk. There has been plenty of events where our body of students came together despite all of our differences. It is what makes this school unique."

"It is very clear of what sports and activities are popular within certain areas. Many parents make the effort to go to games, competitions, or help out with whatever organizations fundraisers, community events, and etc. I was fortunate to have a mom that traveled to all my games, band reviews, and swim meets. Sadly many students don't have that and don't get to know what it feels like to see your parents smiling and cheering you on no matter how bad or good you did."

"I love the academics offered at our school. My sophomore year they established into the academic system classes known as "Dual Enrollment" classes which carry on credits to college. I am taking two this year, Criminology and C.S.I. We have plenty of AP classes and our teachers are knowledgeable in each subject they teach. I love how this school hires teachers who have worked or been involved in their subject outside of school rather than just hiring people who know the curriculum but have no experiences. For example our Criminology teacher Mr.Bray worked as a police officer for over 20 years and our Art teacher Mrs.Gong is well known for her works of art in the Fresno area as she puts on a lot of art shows and displays. I've taken some AP classes and passed each as well as honors courses. The workload may be difficult sometimes, but with good time management and good organization the workload can be a lot less stressful. I wouldn't consider any class to be more popular than the others because there is a very wide diversity of classes, even so that when it was time to register for classes, it took a lot of thinking and research because every class was so much different and offered something unique. The academics I would consider amazing. They offer challenging classes, fun classes, and most of all useful classes."

"It's not terrible but it could be better. There are amazing and enjoyable classes that can really prepare you, but the way many teachers present the subjects are sometimes confusing and don't seem to have a general point in how it's supposed to help you grow and further your mind and get a higher education."

"On our campus, we are mostly made up of Hispanics. We've all grown up together which makes it easy to be accepted among others. Students get very involved especially for sports related events. I always found it interesting how our student body comes together during a big football game or basketball game. Although there is a team on the field and court we are supporting, there's also a team of students in the stands acting as one supporting our teams. I am a Hispanic Christian Baptist and straight male, I've been accepted widely throughout the school but I suppose it is because I am like most of the students. Besides my religion I fit in very well with the population on campus. Sadly, I see a lot of students of different races such as African Americans struggle to make friends on this campus. It is not that we are not accepting or welcoming but in a school and town full of Hispanics, seeing a different race causes students to act as though they aren't as important. However, as I've grown up in this school, I've seen that change. Many more African Americans have started to attend Dinuba High and they fit in just as well as any other race on this campus does. As for sexual orientation, to be honest, there is a significant amount of lesbian couples on campus and a handful of gays as well. It makes me a little uncomfortable but as I've grown older, I've learned to accept it for what it is and others have as well too. Overall, the school continues to become more and more accepting of different races and orientations that I would consider it to be a great environment for anyone!"
