"The IB program was a really good experience that really prepared me for college. Overall I felt like I got a good education and I had many intelligent and great teachers. However, more money should be put into funding for the arts and facilities than those programs are currently receiving, and some teachers could stand to treat their students better."

"Sequoia has a lot of great opportunities for the students there, for example, they have the Health Academy and the Digital Arts Academy. Health Academy helps students get on the path to begin a medical career, while the Digital Arts Academy helps prepare their students to get on the path for working in the technical industry like for Microsoft, EA, and other companies. The College and Career Center has staff that is more than happy to aid students in preparing for college. The many clubs both after school and during lunch like the art club, robotics, 3D printing, and those are only a few to name."

"I love sequoia's IB program. I myself was taking IB English for 2 years and even though it was a lot of work it really was worth taking because I didn't have to take my placement test for college and I got placed in English 105 at college of San Mateo. I would like to see a mixture of different ethnicities taking this wonderful program"

"At Sequoia I have been taught through the wonderful IB program and have been lucky enough to have met such unique and caring individuals. The resources, activities, and adults are pretty great. My English teacher and guidance counselor would take time from their day to listen to me and give me helpful advice. As we all know, everything isn't perfect. From a physical aspect, Sequoia could benefit from new bathrooms and more filtered water stations (there's only two and they break down sometimes). The administration would seem less intimidating if they could seem more empathic with students."

"My name is Marco and a current student of sequoia high school. The first year was the hardest year of my life because most teachers seem to not care about students but to only see if your understand or else fail you. The license of a student is really great because it's a huge campus to explore and recommend for students to apply because it's also diverse and open to people ideas."
