"I love the school and all it has to offer. Especially the band , I enjoy being in it and apart of it. But the students arent always the nicest. And they always get caught with paraphernalia."

"I like the type of people at PVHS, the teachers, and the activities. Yes we may be a small school and in portables with not some of the best teachers but they teach you to adapt to different surroundings. The teachers help you realize how college will be and how much more in depended you need to become. The community at the school is quite chaotic but very loving. I made lots of new friends and found a group of friends where I think I belong. High school really makes you grow up and realize that you, yourself, need to change and see the flaws and embrace it. This school was honestly a good start for me. Though we don't have much we're working pretty well with little resources. Our clubs are starting to be raised from their declines or at least attempting to and more clubs are being made. The school honestly has a different community for all types of people from book lovers to mathletes to even technology wizs. We also show off the many cultures of our school during events and clubs."

"My experience this year at Pinole Valley High School was okay. I think the best thing at Pinole Valley High School is the huge variety of extracurricular activities. By joining lots of clubs this year, I was able to meet new people and learn new things. I don't think it's the best school in terms of academics, but we try to make the best of our portable campus."

"Based on my experience, I consider Pinole Valley High School to be a diamond in the rough. Most people quickly judge its appearance and the people who attended. I was one of those people until I got put into their position. After a few years, I became a part of the school. I joined many clubs as well as attend majority of the events. Though some students lack the ability to try, it does't stop the teachers from guiding them. I had many memorable moment at Pinole Valley High School but I think it would be better if they had more option with the lunch food."
