"Sports are one of the greatest experiences during high school. They allow students to bond over a common interest and socialize during practices. The academic life can at times be competitive among AP students, but overall, most students are supportive. As a focused and driven student, the environment has not distracted me very much."

"The teachers of AP classes definitely try their very best and care about students. Some teachers are disorganized which causes students to be at a disadvantage in the classroom."

"Students tend to get involved in activities only a bit. There could be peer pressure in different areas depending on the type of friends surrounding a student. In my experience, there is more pressure academically to keep up with high-achieving students. Most, if not all, students are accepted for who they are."

"The mathematics department is the most lacking and tends to have not as good teachers. Scheduling was difficult because my counselor specifically forced me into a class I didn't want and it really caused me stress for the first couple weeks of school. If a student takes AP classes, the workload can be extremely stressful, especially if they're involved in extracurricular activities. I have not known of many places that are available for tutoring."

"The teachers I had really cared about if I passed or not and would keep in touch on what I needed to do to succeed. They helped me if I had question and made sure I understood the assignment, they did this for every student as well. I did have some teachers who really didn't care about the students but that was just a few."
