"Academic-wise, my experience at San Leandro High was average, or a little above average at best, as I had my balance of teachers who would not only teach us the material but would care about the quality of our education as students attending a public school in a semi-suburban community, but there were also a handful of teachers who did not seem to care as much as to whether or not we as students were understanding what was going on in class and would still penalize us academically despite the quality of his or her teaching. However, my overall experience would be a 4/5 because I personally was fine in my academic performance, I was very active around the school, and the events and amount of school spirit was always top-notch!"

"I liked the diversity we had on campus for the time I was there. I played sports, so I loved that part of it also and I do believe we had a good music department while it standed. Some things I would have liked to see change and still wish to see are the math department to improve because we had some pretty bad teachers who had complaints and got fired. More help from counselors and other staff is also needed to help students in general, but most importantly to prepare for college or life after high school. There was not much help from our staff when I was there. This would be wonderful to see be changed for the bettering of this school."

"As a freshman basketball player i feel like San Leandro High is a very welcoming school for fresh mans, transfers and others. Something i would like to change is that the fact that they have two campuses. I really like the diversity and how everyone is cool with everyone else some type of way."
