"Vallejo High School isn't the worst school but also isn't the best. Its has a student drama. The drama effects you because you may get classes with those who have the drama and it interrupts your education. The teachers are great. Although some of the staff members are really rude. The activities at the school need some improvement. We need more spirit. All the activities are the same. There is never new activities. No one really meets new people at the school.Everyone just hangs out with their our group and sometimes aren't very friendly. Other than that it's an okay school. You learn new things and are surround by many that want to help you reach your goal in life."

"I attended VHS for all four years. I have met some of my closest friends here, but there are also the bad apples. They can be avoided... Success at Vallejo High mostly depends on you and how you use the limited resources offered. Self-motivation is key in my opinion. I've had my fair share of terrible teachers and amazing ones (Mrs. Delgado, Mr. Lawson, Mrs. Wood). From those who do not teach at all to those who go out of their way to make time after school. My pre-calculus teacher in my junior year in 2013 was the worst. He was actually a college professor and we called him "Dr" but he didn't teach at all! A complete waste of a year of math. It was basically a free period. To get the most out of your education here, I recommend taking honors and AP classes. They're great and rigorous although stressful, depending on how well you manage your time. Part of the reason why I took honors/AP classes was to get away from the ratchets. However, there are friendly ratchets, too, haha. I absolutely love the diversity! People tend to stray with their own groups. Random fights are common and annoying, especially on rally days. There are a handful of students who are serious about their education, but I've met some who generally lack motivation though they are fully capable of passing a mainstream (regular) class. The security staff are kind of mean, to be honest, and it doesn't feel any safer... We had a WASC visit in Spring of 2015 after winter break and we passed the test with "flying colors." The bathrooms were literally sparkling clean and polished which I have not seen in all my four years there. I was disappointed. It should be like that every week, not every four years. VHS still needs improvement, both in academics and... bathrooms. For senior year, I attended water world, prom, and grad night which were great. Overall, I probably wouldn't choose this school again if I could do it all over."

"Coming into this school as a freshman, I had already heard some things about the school. But, me being me, I always like to see for myself. Some things that were bad that I heard were true and others were not. I had just had to be smart enough to use my own judgement and learn the ropes of the school. I'm a senior not, still attending the same High School and I can honestly say that it has been a great ride and I've acquired some of my best friends along the way"

"My favorite experiences is being part of the hospitality academy you feel like you know everyone and feel like a family. My school is unique because we are one of most diverse city in the country. I would not choose this school again because they have no prepare us fully to go to college but I would go again because of the people are really nice."

"The students are really distracted, its hard to pay attention in a classroom full of disruptive students. In my opinion the teachers have alot of patience, they really want the students to succeed, this school has one of the best teachers."
