"The schedule process is a long one. It's based on a first come first serve basis. It typically begins with the Seniors and then trickles down to the lower class-men. Depending on the class course that you choose, regular of AP, the workload varies. I have more AP classes this year and the workload is really big and stressful but, doable. teachers make it clear what is expected from the students and they hand out Syllabuses with a clear outline of how the year is supposed to go, which makes things a tad bit easier on the students."

"Though I haven't been at Kennedy for my whole high school experience, I would most definitely do it all over again. Coming from a school that didn't really have that much electives to begin with, I was extremely bored just focusing on academics all the time. Coming to Kennedy exposed me to a vast majority of electives, from weight training to art classes. This school has a lot of potential in it, regardless of how it may appear in the outside. Students are filled with spirit and their is never a dull day."

"Most teachers do care about the students. However, they lack control of their classrooms. When this happens, it takes them a while to get things back on track therefore, leaving less learning time for the rest of the students. They're teachers who give really interesting lessons, but then they're some who just don't give interesting lessons at all. I would have to say that some of their teaching styles can improve but overall, the teachers aren't that bad and they definitely go out of their way to get us the materials that we need to learn."

"Most of the students that attend this school are part of the minority groups. Blacks, Latinos, Asian etc. They're a majority of the students that also identify with other sexual orientations, all which are welcomed at Kennedy. Most of the students are very accepting, if you don't fit in on the first day, keep looking you are bound to find a place on the campus where you fit in. Kennedy is like a family, we've all been through things in our lives which we can relate with others, that's what makes the students determined to succeed, and go to college."

"In all honesty the teachers here are amazing! The only thing that makes it difficult for them is all the students who do nothing but disrupt class and disrespect the teachers, students like them make it seem like the teachers can't control their class, I've even heard some students say they got kicked out of class for "no reason" even though they actually did something. The teachers are just trying to do they're job and they've done an amazing job. These teachers actually care about you doing good, if they see you struggling they'll help no matter what. They try their best to make learning fun, TRY THEIR BEST I said. I could list a couple who would make it extremely boring... Now when it comes to their ways of grading I'd say a lot of these students get what they deserve, if you tried, great you passed, if not, too bad you failed and that's what you get for not putting any effort into it. Students tend to complain about their grades saying it was graded "unfairly" but as I said, you get what you deserve. These teachers don't BS their grades."
