"A lot of teachers who teach AP at my school lack the quality and effort to fully teach a classroom and prepare them for the AP test, and the students come out of the class only ready to pass the next test, not completely understand the whole subject or course curriculum. This goes for ALL teachers except for maybe a handful. The AP test pass rate at my school is probably one of the lowest I have encountered."

"The school isn't bad, as far as I know it is better than our rival school in town Sobrato."

"If i could attend high school over again, i would choose to attend Live Oak High School. This is because the bullying is minimal to nonexistent, there are many sports and clubs to join in order to become more involved with your school. Maintaining grades high is not difficult even if there is a lot of homework because, if time is managed wisely on homework, teachers help students comprehend the concepts taught in the classroom environment. Also, students are very friendly when it comes to transfer students and other students or staff that are seen everyday. There is an overall positive atmosphere at Live Oak."

"Many teachers encourage students to try their best and that responding something in an assignment and being confident about it is better than responding nothing. Teachers work hard at spending time with individual students and if they can't during class, there is after school tutoring on every subject. However, it doesn't mean that a few teachers tend to stick to the textbook only and fail to realize that they need to apply real life relevant examples. Overall, the teachers are great and can relate to students enough to stoop to the level of our developing minds and apply their comprehension."

"Some teachers put in a lot of work for the children but it would be helpful if teachers would help you more. Some dont try as hard to teach and slack off during the class, I understand that there are some days that teachers want to take a free day and watch a movie but it should not be meant to do all the time."
