"I like the CTE programs. Students who aren't enrolling in the tougher curriculum and planning to go to a 4-year can use these to get a head start in the workforce. A huge downside to Sonora is the financial crisis we are facing, which could mean a cut to some of the CTE classes."

"The "school," which I use as a synecdoche to mean "the people that make up the school," is unbelievably diverse in expression of the Self. And that, just in itself, is what ultimately inspires joy in me at school... every single person I've ever met could find a group at that school that they would be happy in, and where that means that "equality" is impossible as a whole school, I think that we shoot for equity and do a working job of it. Aside from that, though, the educators there, regardless of teaching technique, are deservingly knowledgeable, so I ask questions often. What would make the school better, I think, would be an opening of the minds of some people there, but that hopefully will come in time. Basically, looking at my whole highschool experience, I've learned that "understanding" really is the key that opens every door. I will find my freedom in learning; and I will express what I learn through art."

"It was a great school full of friendly people, but I do not believe it helped students reach their full academic potential."

"The Honora and AP academic programs are quite rigorous and have quite a large amount of work. In CP classes, there is way more lenience and ability to not do work and still pass the class."

"Quite a few students at this school are racist/homophobic"
