"I believe this school is the best in the area. The principle is dedicated to his students and they all seem to like him. They excel in basketball for both boys and girls. My son is in the band and loves it. He has had some very good teachers the last two years. He can't wait to have his 8th grade year!"

"1St. Mountain vista has grades 6-8 not 5-8. 2Nd. I think the teachers are very good, but unfortunately, there are quite a few fights due to lack of teachers watching the students. Over-all, i think mountain vista is a great school."

"My son received certificates for student of the quarter and honor roll for 7th grade at the past assembly. I was very impressed to see how many 7th and 8th graders made honor roll. The assembly was presented very well. The teachers are doing a great job with our children and a pat on the back to all the parents who stay connected in their childrens life and encourage them to succeed. Great job to everyone at Mt. Vista Middle School. I also grew up attending Kelseyville Unified Schools and am proud to have my children doing the same."
