"JHS is an academically challenging school with a strong focus on student athletics. But the school is also a place that encourages all other activities such as visual and performing arts, UC-level photography and digital media courses, and a multitude of clubs. Most of all, they support student development in the areas of community and Christian service."

"JHS has a mix of long-time and new teachers. Many have advanced degrees (Masters or PhDs) in their fields. What is most telling is that the school has many alumni that are either teaching or serving on the administration. The current principal is a former student. When my son started in 2013, it was the first year of the one-to-one iPad computing. All of the teachers incorporated the use of technology in their classrooms without overdoing it. The teachers are also willing to change and grow as their students change. I often hear of teachers taking courses or special training during the non-instructional days. One of my son's teachers literally changed his teaching style to match the learning styles of his newest students."

"I love Jesuit. Even though it's all guys, we have an all girl sister school that we do everything with, and we have many clubs and programs that involve girls. The teachers are great people, and there are very few teachers whom I would not want to have again. The cafeteria is overpriced but the food is pretty good and they run it efficiently. You can take essentially unlimited honors and AP classes so it's easy to maintain a high GPA with hard work. The counselors are pretty good and take care of business. The retreats are really cool, and the brotherhood is real."

"As far as Diversity our school is lacking a bit. They try their hardest to promote it but most kids Are rich and white."

"Most teachers look out for you at school and have your back. There is a great sense of community and they help you become the best you can be."
