"Overall, most teachers are very knowledgeable on what they are trying to teach the students. Most try to go above and beyond when it comes to bringing enough materials for the class. However it is very difficult for the teachers to do so. The teachers at PHS are great and are diverse, which makes it a fun learning experience. Any student is able to contact any teacher at any time through the schools website. The only problem is the consistency in grading. Some teachers don't update grades until the very last day of the grading period or semester which makes it difficult for the student to gauge how they are doing in the class."

"Most teachers care for the students and try to help them get the best grades possible. Depending on the classes they might keep doing a certain lesson longer so the whole class can understand. Most AP classes do not do this, but still provide help outside of classroom time. In all cases, it is hard to fail a class because the teachers put in. A lot of time to make sure each student format fail. If a student does fail, they put in a lot of work trying to fail. Some teachers are grumpy and not very nice, but some are very kind and try to make sure everyone understands."

"The teachers are okay. They are helpful sometimes and they incorporate real life into our lessons."

"I really do love this school. All of my teachers have tried to push me to be the best I can. I've never had a class where I struggled so much that I gave up. They pushed me just enough to make me struggle, but not to over work me. The programs there (band, ffa, skillsusa, etc) made my experience of high school really great. I made many friends and gained tons of experience. It brought me out of my bubble. Sports were also very helpful. It kept me in shape and involved in my school. Although volleyball wasn't very popular there still was a lot of support for us. I would go back if I had to. I loved this school. Pioneer offers a lot and can improve in promoting things, but they have a lot to offer. I couldn't name just one favorite experience. My whole time here was my favorite experience."

"I was glad to have good teachers and interesting classes throughout the years. I would say that there should be an adequate distribution of funding across all of the school's programs."
