"Everyone person on campus is unique and appreciated. Students can be seen riding around on unicycles at lunch or having a band jam session in the lobby. Everyone is accepted and the sense of community is overwhelming. Even the teachers get in on the crazy fun by singing along, picking up a guitar or even hopping on a unicycle!"

"Teachers are extremely invested in their students. They go out of their way to ensure the well being of the students and to help secure positions, such as jobs and internships to build a successful future. The student to teacher relationships are unique and benificial in a way that is refreshing. As a student I have found that the teachers care about your academic well being just as much as you social and mental well being."

"The school is okay compared to your average "mainstream" public school. But as a Waldorf school, I was fairly disappointed that they admitted students with such bad behaviors and work ethics. Most of the students there don't care for the Waldorf way of learning, which is ironic to say the least. The teachers, for the most part, are very dedicated to teaching the curricula in a fun creative way. But some of the teachers do seem a little stuck up. Overall, I love the Waldorf method but I think most of the students see it as a joke. So that definitely takes away from the experience the GOOD students come to Carver for."

"The school admissions process made it seem like the classes would be full of elite students but that was not the case. The school is merely interested in getting more students no matter how non-disciplined they may be. I was disappointed in that they didn't provide many electives, as well. Plus, this school focuses more on the arts, integrating art into every subject which can get overwhelming if you get frustrated drawing a simple circle. The teachers are to the extreme. Either you love them or you hate them. Some give off a "We're Waldorf so we're better than you" vibe while others are very laid-back. I've heard so many freshmen say that "this school tries too hard" when I attended, and they are definitely right in my opinion."

"The teachers are very engaged and involved in school projects and activities. There is much support and help provided when needed."
