"Th teachers here are absolutely the best! They're understanding and become good friends. Yes they're teachers but they will lend any help you need. They respect you as long as you respect them. They put in long hours of their day to help you - even when they are g paid for that 1-2 hours they're with you. Teachers at my school districts are undergoing budget cuts and lay-offs. The teachers are scared but they don't show it. They know they've got a job to finish and that's helping us kids graduate. Our schools graduation rates are 100% every year. How? Ask the students because we all have amazing teachers."

"Since my first year here, I have been involved with so many activities that they offer. I have switched from being an actress, a singer, and dancer. Now i am proficient at all of these. Not only that I am happy to have become good friends with all the staff and students here, My school is small, about 400 students, so its hard to miss those you grow up with!"

"Besides the fact that the No Student Left Behind royally messed up school systems, I had some of the greatest teachers who worked around that. This school really pushed you to do the best, because it was focused on both academia and artistic ability. They wanted you to do everything and anything they could offer. Being a small institution really helped hone our abilities. My first year of College, I felt so over-prepared. It was so easy, I passed with a 4.0. Second semester was a bit more tedious, but still easy. This school made it seem like college was going to be so much harder than it actually is, and I'm thankful for that. While I don't necessarily understand the 'real world' issue you present, I will try to clarify. MCAA is as much as an outside school than anything else. You don't get the whole 'high school' feel to it. People walk around in cosplay daily, ballerinas are dashing to get to dance class, martial artists are roving around: people practice drama in the fields, art is done on the walls. The place is like a fairytale, so when you go out into the 'real world', nothing seems right. People are dressed in 'normal' clothes. They don't act or play or sing randomly. They don't do anything 'fun'. It's cold and aloof. But then you find that one area, a mural painted by a wandering street artist, or music players who never met jamming out in the shadows-that's where MCAA comes in. That's where you see the 'real world', and not the 'everyday' one. I was very prepared for the real world. I knew how to balance a check book, I know how to keep my bills up to date, I know the struggle of living paycheck to paycheck...but I knew this all before MCAA."

"Although I am still a current high school student, this school has given me the chance to take college courses. Which has given me the opportunity to get a head start in college. Marysville Charter Academy of the Arts being a college preparatory school has already prepared me for college even before I graduated. Students who go to MCAA will be prepared and confident in their future."

"The teachers are very kind and are always interested in meeting every child's need. The educators offer many opportunities for learning such as tutoring and one on one discussions on what you need help on and make sure you understand the new concepts presented daily."
