"The teachers at Lindhurst High really care for the students and want to see us succeed in life. Lindhurst High, being a school made up of mostly low-income students, is also a low-profile school around the area, but what keeps it running are the brilliant teachers who put in their most of their efforts to see us all graduate and move on to college. The teachers always encourage students who need extra help to come in during morning, lunch, and even after-school hours. The teachers not only give good lectures about the class topic, but also go outside the box to inform us of information about colleges and scholarships to ensure we all know what to expect out of high school as well. Our teachers also encourage the use of resources not conventionally used to help show us the vast ways we can learn, so that we can find the best method for us."

"The school is very diverse in its representation of students but because this school is located in a poor area, some student turn towards the hood life because that's where they came from; the sad thing is that many can't get away from it and have to stick to it. The students who do try extra harder are really involved in the school and pose competitiveness. The school, due to its great public-school vibe, has an open mind for all races, ethnicity, social barriers, educational barriers, and sexual orientation, however it comes upon the student to decide whether they want to succeed or not from the "hood" like appearance of the area around them (Linda)"

"The school for the most part has all the conventional classes required by any school, and goes above and beyond in those subjects, yet it has some limitations. There is only one foreign language class which is Spanish which limits many students mindsets. Also, I, myself, being a very curious and excited future student of Computer Science would have really enjoyed taking a Computer class here but there were none except Multimedia and Game Design, which I really loved, but other than that, I feel like the school has to add more computer courses. There are however dual-enrollment classes as Lindhurst works with Yuba College to give more options to students. Some of those classes actually do involve computers but can only be taken as a senior. Other than that, the school has a wide range of topics and subjects to choose from."

"My overall experience at this school has been awesome. The school is really diverse; you can look around and see all the different faces and personalities of students who all coexist at the school. Lindhurst High also has a nice syste for clubs and sports. Being invloved in many clubs as well as sports such as tennis, I've seen the effectiveness of these school actvities to be phenomenal. Everyone enjoys themselves, we're all friends, and most of all, we encourage each other's aspirations and really hear out everyone's voice to ensure that everyone has a good experience. The school also greatly engages in the student-exchange system and also has many helpful programs for students that come in from different backgrounds, which I've noticed to be really helpful for the disadvantaged or new students. Everyone there wants them to feel welcome and apart of the family at Lindhurst. The school usually gets a bad rep, but from my full 3 years and later 4 years going there, it has been an awesome experience."

"The diversity at this school is great and there is very little discrimination and hate simply because the students have been going to school together for a while. There are many clubs at the school and students have the option to create their own as well. The campus itself has undergone a major reconstruction and it looks great. My favourite thing about the school is the diversity and the open-mindness of the teachers and staff."
