"I really liked the block schedule and found it much better than a typical schedule because of the opportunity to take more classes."

"All in all a good school academically. It offers enough AP classes to satisfy. The higher level teachers are very good, but it you aren't one for AP, be ready to be bored out of your mind. Choices for electives are a little limited. The buildings were built out of cinder block in the 50s, so if someone decides to drop a nuclear bomb on Truckee, you'll probably be safe inside this thing, but for every other purpose it's miserable. This will probably improve, as there's a remodel scheduled for the next few years."

"The small school size makes it a close knit community. I would choose it all over again for the feeling of closeness and intimacy."
