"Kealakehe High school is sometimes a good High School and sometimes not. Why is it sometimes a good high school? Firstly, there is a lot of different people there that don't care if you are different color or are of different status. Secondly, the school can be chill. Lastly, the school has many exciting school events for us all to get together as a school. Why is sometimes not a good school? Well there is a couple I want to say, but I'm only going to say three. Firstly, not all the teachers are good at teaching, they can give us overly dramatic grades, and even learn anything in the class. Secondly, there is not a lot of opportunities to do things, especially sports, different classes, and very limited in things to do with education. Lastly, the school lunch is not the best. I feel like I don't even know what I am eating sometimes and I find it a bit disturbing. All in all, depending on how you see things, this is how I see my school. Not all that good or bad."

"What I loved most about my time at Kealakehe High School was the overall championed sense of diversity that engulfed our small community. KHS is a small representation of the diversity found in Hawaii, one with various cultures, customs, and languages. At Kealakehe I was exposed to people from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Above all, I was exposed to endless aloha from the student body and faculty. Looking back at my time at KHS, I am nothing but thankful for all of my experiences there and for the future it helped shape for me."

"Your time at Kealakehe is what you make of it. If you choose to take the college route, you will find teachers and courses that prepare and challenge you; if you choose to get a diploma and go into the work force, things will definitely be more lax (the school does provide some career preparation, like an on-campus auto-body shop). KHS has some really great faculty members, but if you wish to go to college, your preparation for higher education depends heavily on YOU. The college counselor is relatively new, and your guidance counselor has a lot of kids to help just graduate, so don't expect a lot of help from them. The school does not help with college essays, standardized tests, etc. Don't be discouraged, though, because some really great people going to really great places make it out of KHS just fine."

"I enjoyed going to school at kealakehe high school. The teachers were always very helpful to all the students. They always tried to make school dinner for everyone, always asked the students for ideas of how to make it better for them. They had really cool cultures and parades that I've never seen before and learned from them. When ever we had a problem the staff or teachers tried to helps to solve it. Teachers always tried to include parents to get more involved with their kids. The school was always open with students if they ever needed any kind of resources . Overall my experience at kealakehe was amazing and I will be recommending kids to go their."

"Kealakehe is a typical highschool with average everything. Academics are great for kids who try to accel taking many AP or honors courses with teachers that respect everyone's learning capacity. The Teachers try to push the student to really accomplish this by themselves thus creating a environment where student can take their own initiative to achieve full understanding of any subject."
